Heading1 - The Main Careers Site Content

There are job categories listed on the main Careers site. The job category with an image in a box shape; three boxes per row. The job categories are listed alphabetically. Clicking on one of the boxes will open the job category on another tab in your browser. Going forward, we will refer to these as category landing pages.

We will list the all of the categories as links later in this summary, so that you can use this page to click from, rather than using the images on the Main Careers site, if you would find that more helpful.

Under the job category boxes, there is a banner that runs across the page. The banner is clickable and says Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Berkeley Lab, Learn More. That page will be described in more detail below.

Next, there is a box titled Why Berkeley Lab. There is content that provides an overview of why candidates should choose a career at Berkeley Lab. Below that overview, there are a list of links that may provide additional information. The links are outside of the Careers site, and will open a new tab on your browser.

Below the Why Berkeley Lab box is a video titled Berkeley Lab: Bringing Science Solutions to the World. Clicking on the box launches the video in a new tab on your browser, hosted by YouTube.

Next to those boxes, there is a Sign Up for Job Alerts button. For your convenience, you can navigate from this page as well to Sign Up for Job Alerts. More detail about this feature will be described below.

Under the Sign Up for Job Alerts button, previous job searches you may have done will be listed in a box. You can click on the job search to see the same results.

Under the Previous Job Searches, there is a box called My Profile. You can click on the Go To Profile button, which will allow you to manage your job profile. This will only be visible for candidates who are not current, active, Berkeley Lab employees.

For current, active, Berkeley Lab employees, the Berkeley Lab identity is the profile.

Under the My Profile box is another box called My Submissions. Clicking on the My Submissions button will allow you to view previously submitted job applications, and if the job is still posted as open, you will have an opportunity to edit.

Next, there is a line, followed by the Equal Employment Opportunity statement, Privacy & Security Notice, a link to the E-Verify information, and a Contact Us link.

The last item on the page is the notice that we provide accommodation as needed.
