The successful Postdoc will have a background in theory and computation, and will develop and use methods to predict coherence lifetimes in the computational discovery of new two-level systems embedded in thin films, nanocrystals, and metal/covalent organic frameworks. The postdoc will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team at the Molecular Foundry, providing complementary expertise to experimental synthesis and characterization efforts.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide technical leadership in the area of simulation of decoherence mechanisms of color center qubits.

  • Utilize new developments in computational software to predict and understand experimental results.
